Sneakers & Plaid

Hey loves!

I’ve been really feeling casual looks as of late. You all know I live for a pair of cute heels. But, there’s something magically about being able to be stylish and comfy at the same time. I’ve told myself that I better not buy another pair of vans. I’m starting to wonder if I’m secretly becoming a sneaker head (Not). My styling objective was to keep accentuate the black/white contrast on the sneakers. Hence, I added the black/white striped bag. I’m all for having fun with patterns and print mixing. My goal is to keep the look cohesive and simple. Chic girls don’t have to try hard at all! 😉 I hope you guys enjoyed this look.

Cold weather style

Happy Monday babes! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Besides, dealing with 7 inches of snow. My weekend was great! Today’s look is very wearable in inclement weather. Just switch the boots for an all weather Sorrel boot or Ugg boot (Not my fave) and you’re ready to tackle the weather. I would also suggest grabbing your favorite hat and scarf. So that you don’t “Catch that hawk” as my granny would say. Lol I’ll have all the details below on this look.

Neon Green

Happy Monday Boo’s!

Today’s look is dedicated to neon green. Neon is on major trend right now. I’ve actually had this scarf for several years and never really thought about styling it for my blog. My favorite aspect of the scarf is the pop of neon green. Although, we’ve had some pretty mild fats this winter. I always make good use of my outerwear.

Outerwear, is a major part of my wardrobe. I love to find pieces that make a statement when you’re too bundled up to display your outfit. So, for all of my fashionista’s that keep their outfits to a minimum. A fashionable jacket and scarf is a great way to make a subtle statement.

I’m so glad that you to took the time to stop by. With instagram being such a large platform. I’m noticing that many bloggers are skipping the blog post and posting their pictures to Instagram only. Happy Friday loves!

Keeping it short and sweet! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday. I’m still scrambling to finish my last minute shopping. But, when I start to feel overwhelmed. I remind myself of the true reason for the season. I typically take days off work this time of year. I will be off for 11 days and I’m looking forward to a little rest and relaxation.

Today’s look is a simple and casual at the same time. I’ve been waiting for the perfect time to wear my teddy coat. A friend and I went for a walk in their neighborhood and I was so comfy the entire time. I’ve seen many variations of the teddy coat. Some have more texture and may even be a bit heavier. I just love the versatility of this piece. It’s definitely an item that you can dress up or down. Although, I kept it casual...I would also add a skirt and a pair of knee boots for a dressier look. A leather skirt or pant would be perfect to mix textures as well. My love for this jacket is so real! I’m now on the hunt for a pink one. Lol

We’re another day closer to the weekend. Let’s talk about today’s look. I’ve had this chic dress for several years and just hadn’t had a chance to wear it. I absolutely love that the colors scream fall. Typically, I would wear a tight this time of year. However, I opted for a bare leg and white boots. Casual Holiday Style

Hey friends!

It’s the most wonderful but stressful time of the year. I remind myself every year to hone in on the true meaning of Christmas and not just gifts. I understand that gift giving is fun. However, there’s so many valuable things in life...that money can’t buy.

Most of us have plenty of holiday parties to attend. This particular look is more for a casual holiday event. When, picking your holiday look. The color and print of your look can scream holiday style. My signature is wearing red and plaid this time of the year. I guarantee that you’ll find the two in most brand collections during the winter months. Many of the pieces I’m wearing are from previous seasons. I really loved how this look could be dressed up down. I added the velvet pumps for a sophisticated touch. However, pair of white chucks would be cute as well.
